Teamwork, Makes The Dream Work

Did you read our last blog posts? Well if you did then you would be well aware of the little fact I gave about puzzles instilling teamwork in children...... but it's not just your kids who can benefit from putting the pieces together because let's be honest, we all have areas to improve in.
One of the most popular phrases is "teamwork makes the dream work" and that's because we need each other, this past year has proven that. And what better way to learn than through the purchasing of a puzzle that benefits a cause such as PAL Vancouver?
But regardless of the puzzle, you get, here are the specific ways puzzles increase teamwork abilities:
1. Strengthen Communication Skills When you are putting a puzzle together with another person, you have to communicate what area you are working on, and what pieces you are looking for, in order to help each other instead of stunt. This improves your ability to communicate your needs and thought processes.
2. Improve Participation
When two or more people are putting a puzzle together, they are all contributing. I mean it would be weird if someone was just sitting there silently with their arms crossed. And through that, every person involved learns how to work with others and problem solve as a group.
3. Bonding/ Introductions
When people first join/ form a team there can be a sense of uncertainty as dynamics are not yet understood. Sitting down to complete a task together (such as a puzzle), can help people understand each other's working styles, communication styles, and personalities in general further developing relationships.
4. Boost Team Morale
When you are putting a puzzle together with another person, you have to communicate what area you are working on, and what pieces you are looking for, in order to help each other instead of stunt. This improves your ability to communicate your needs and thought processes.
...I can't promise this exact outcome, but it is possible.
So have I convinced you? Then get your puzzle now, and enter our giveaway while you're at it.
